At Provincial Counselling Services, our mission is to equip you with the skills to cope through bad days, and enjoy the good ones.
Tai is dedicated to providing client-centered, integrative, and holistic counselling services to youth and adults across a broad spectrum of mental health issues including: depression, anxiety, personality disorders, substance dependency, and issues related to life transitions, self-esteem, and relationships.
Tai is passionate about providing evidence-based treatment and committed to providing the highest standard of care, acknowledging the intersectional framework of how race, religion, class, gender, and sexuality combine to create our identity.
Tai has treated clients in a variety of settings and brings this diverse skill set to his practice using primarily a cognitive-behavioural approach and mindfulness-based practices. Tai uses a collaborative and engaging approach to teach strategies and instill confidence to help clients flourish.
In addition to his work at Provincial Counselling Services, Tai Chatur is also the Executive Director of the Canadian Centre for Men and Families - a Social Service Hub for Boys, Men and their Families. He is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (Registrant #3487p) and a member of the Psychologists' Association of Alberta.
